INCE Digital Library

The Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the United States of America (INCE/USA) is a non-profit, professional organization with the primary objective to advance the technology of noise control engineering.

This page provides links to search or browse current and past issues of NCEJ (Noise Control Engineering Journal) or across the entire online collection of over 6,000 INCE conference papers. The Table of Contents lists all articles with links to the full-text PDF.

If you are a member of INCE-USA or your institution is a subscriber, full NCEJ and conference articles are available to you for free through your membership or subscription. If you are not a member, papers can be purchased online through the Document Store. To become a member of INCE-USA and have full free access to NCEJ and INCE Conference Proceedings, inquire at http://www.inceusa.org.

If you want to purchase an article and are a first time user in the Document Store, you may opt to create a store account or you may purchase articles without one. A store account allows you to return and login without being required to re-enter the personal information for future purchases. (Credit card info is NOT stored in the account’s data. You will need to enter the card number on subsequent visits.)

Search options include the ability to search within the current issue or to search across the entire collection of articles. Once selected, a range of search options is displayed, enabling more refined searching of specific online content, and a detailed 'Tips & Examples' section is provided for easy reference. You can select a range of years or volumes and issues to search across, narrowing your search to more relevant data. Each article listed in the search results includes a link to the full-text PDF.

The Institute of Noise Control Engineering of the United States of America (INCE/USA) was founded in 1971. The goal of INCE/USA is to advance the technology of assessing the effects of environmental noise and engineering methods for the control noise.
